I just installed CS3 and, am a newbie to flash.
I have .fla (from someone that quit, how fun) that was created with MX2004 professional on windows. I just installed CS3 30 day trial version and, am trying to open/save with CS3. The instant I save the .fla (no modifications), the exported .swf becomes useless. When I run the I get the error message … “a script in this movie is causing flash player to run slowly. if it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. do you want to abort the script?” If I hit “yes”, I will get some part of the display and, not the whole thing, if I didn’t save it via CS3.
I’m looking for a workaround or can some one suggest a place I can get flash7/8 or an AS editor (for a mac :)? Or do I need to go back to MX 2004 and, a PC?
