CSS menu problems

if you’re looking at this in IE then you can see how I want it to look, in FF you should see the problems

  1. The menus all messed up
  2. The box around the whole site goes.

For number 1, I’m stumped…

I think the answer to number 2 is changing the divs to absolute/relative positioning but I’m not sure, what do you think?
