Sorry if this issue has been addressed before on here, did have a quick scout.
Just wondering if anyone can offer the quick solution to this problem I am having, see the images below:

That is how my page displays in Firefox, the pink (for testing only!!) sidebar is in position and everything is hunky dorey!
Then you open the same page in IE and this happens:

Now I’m sure I’ve read on a CSS tutorial somewhere of why this happens and the quick simple fix to help silly IE users but I cannot find it anywhere.
I haven’t posted my CSS file purely because I thought this was a common problem to which there was a simple solution, if someone needs to see it to help then please let me know!
