CSV (excel file) values in FLASH

Hi,

I need a Flash presentation to be able to extract data from an excel file. What it needs to do is quite simple but getting it to work is probably the hard thing.

If I have 3 TEXT FIELDS in Flash named:

  1. Code Number
  2. Name
  3. Value

I need to be able to type in the ‘Code Number’ in Flash, and for it to bring up the other two fields (Name and Value) by extracting data from the CSV file (or equivalent file). Obviously the values will be listed in the spread sheet.

Is this possible? Any help would be appreciated! If the CSV file needs to be turned into an XML file can someone explain how it would be done that way too?
