I’m using Flash CS3 and the built in Slider component.
I want to customize the slider in the following ways:

Make the hit area of the slider bar larger. The original hit area makes the slider bar hard to hit with the mouse. I’m referring to the area on the sides of the slider handle.

Make the slider handle bigger or smaller. I’ve managed to change the looks of the slider handle, but the size stays the same no matter how much I resize the handle.
