Cutting flv in flash (really simple) pls HELP!

Hi all I’m having a real simple problem that was suposed to be fixed by now but I don’t know whats happening… Here is the thing I want to add an FLV file in my web site but I need to cut off the first few seconds of it. I tried importing video in flash but that option that used to apear on the second or tird screen is not showing, so my movie is aways fully imported…can anyone please help me? Thanks
