I want to declare a public variable, which its value is saved every time I am using it in a function.
Please explain to me how to declare it and where. I want to use the variable inside a movie clip for an openning menu. The problem is that I have a few categories and I want each time I press on some item in the menu that the open menu of this item would be opened, and the previous menu of the other item would be closed.
