"Help Rahne (Wolfsbane) Sinclair rescue Illyana from the Darkchilde! Years after the events of Inferno, strange things are happening at the Xavier Institute. Glowing circles appear in the woods…a mysterious letter shows up in Illyana’s handwriting…but isn’t she supposed to be dead?

Use your keyboard to control Rahne. To interact with a character or thing, move Rahne until she is touching them. Use the spacebar to attack or pick up an object. Information and clues will sometimes appear in the Dialogue panel and the Wolf Senses panel, so pay close attention to what they say.

Rahne has 3 forms, each of which have different strengths and abilities. You will need to use all three forms to explore demonic Limbo and rescue Illyana. HINT: Just because something doesn’t work in one form doesn’t mean it won’t work in another.

I’ll never find the time to finish this but I wanted to share it because I have learned/stolen so much from the kind gurus here. Feedback, good or bad, is much appreciated. Fans of X-Men/New Mutants might be the only ones to dig it.

I think I injured my brain just trying to give her 3 forms with different speeds, damage, and abilities. But it was fun.

first: you should have at least done a g’■■■■ preloader
the game is a bit slow, it’s hard to fight (can’t press rapidly or just hold the space to fight) amd I don’t get why the underground tree kills me

however I like your game, it’s a good idea that you can turn into other things and use their very own abilities among the quests

improve it a little :wink:

There is a preloader, and I personally asked God to damn it for me. That may be the problem.

Deliberate. That tells me it worked.

Yeah I was concerned about that. The dialogue box eplains it kindof. Let the health go low enough and your escape portal appears.

I doubt that! This stuff takes forever. I don’t know how you guys do this and have any time left for family.

couldnt figure out where to go or what to do… not a good thing

yeah I liked the look/feel but the way to go about the game ^ as mentioned above, seemed a little to vague and I really didn’t know what to do … maybe a little storyline before the game to let the user know what is going on and what the task at hand is would be best? … overall it looks like you’ve def. spent some time in it which is kewl and I give you props for effort definately!

Thx everybody. Yeah, the target audience is pretty specific (familiar with characters, setting, etc) so I didn’t give much attention to pre-game narrative. But that I certainly may change, even though I doubt I’ll ever do more with the game.

That and the splash screen which to me is hideous and I made the darn thing. It’s become an interface nightmare in its twelfth version or so. :wink:

…what? What else is the matter? Please, speak up, I prefer blunt critiques–it is the only way to grow.

I really like your game I think its really wonderful
Ofcourse it has its glitches but it be very entertaining with more levels and a few tweaks

My suggestions:

  • fighting with monsters should be more than just pressing spacebar
  • the dialogue box should be bigger or appear as a “note” in the middle of the screen (dismissable with mouse click or space)

The idea of transition between 3 forms and solving puzzles in each form using their unique abilities is really wonderful!

I mamaged to make it to the last frame of the demo and that level with the rainbow was really funny lol

also getting the sword didnt do anything for my fighting abilities…maybe that could be worked on? getting different weapons give newer abilities?
