lostinbeta I think I remember you had a footer a while back with 3 movie clips moving to the mouse at different speed giving that depth effect.
Any help on this topic would be great.
I think you could just do it with different layers going different speeds depending on mouse movement… i dont know the code on how to do it… but yeah… thats what i think would work

I presume you mean removed the y axis as you are scrolling on the x axis

And yes, the clips widths were 3 times the width of the stage you are using it on.
That way it doesn’t scroll past the edge. Although some if statements might help you control that as well.
Was it you that had that cool footer with the grass and a moving background?
Yep that was me. I had to remove it because the .png and alpha effects I used caused the file size to be like 180k 
Broke the footer requirements after we had the crackdown.
ha braking the law shame on you.
If you still have this footer can you send me a version. If not that’s cool too.
Sorry, I lost that .fla a while ago My comp is way too polluted with junk. I have the .swf file though
