Design Firm NIA Creative Seeking Mid-Level Designer – Feb. 28, 2007
Are you looking for a great opportunity in a fun and creative hands-on design environment? NIA Creative is seeking to fill the next position on it’s team, with the role of a Mid-Level Designer. Atmosphere at office is very creative, spirited and friendly. We’re located in Pleasanton, CA and are looking for someone to work on-location full-time. Responsibilities would include design for web/interactive, print and/or motion graphics. Additional creative talents will be welcomed.

Working at NIA is a team effort, and the designer we hire will work closely with the other members of NIA to complete a wide range of design solutions. From traditional print to web to video, there is a large variety of work. The position will report to the Creative Director and Senior Project Manager within the studio and will assist on a variety of projects to gain exposure to working processes and to establish an effective design methodology.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who has the ability to work successfully within a highly collaborative and cross-functional team. He or she is passionate about the world of design and a job well done.
Responsibilities[LIST]
[]Recommend solutions and concepts for visual challenges that the project manager provides
[]Contribute to the design conversation with other designers and art directors
[]Bring a fresh perspective and approach to the NIA style
[]Provide tenacity to design production for the completion of projects
[]Help to prepare client presentations and deliverables
[]Work effectively and efficiently under deadline pressure[/LIST]
Skills[LIST]
[]Strong knowledge and experience in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
[]A strong sense of design and layout
[]Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML/CSS programming skills a plus
[]Video editing, animation and motion design skills a plus
[]Photography, illustration and art skills a plus[/LIST]

[]3+ years experience working with corporate clients

The salary for this position is 45k-55k, DOE.
