Design with flash

I need to work on the design of my application…and the first thing is to make better looking buttons…I want to know if there is a tutorial that goes into creating professional looking graphics to use with my flash app…anyone know where I can go to learn how to do gradients, shading…the whole nine yards with design…I am not very artistic, so I need all the help I can get…
