Hi - I’m having a tiny but infuriating issue with:
http://www.margaretelliottart.com
The site has been up for a couple of months, working great, with three thumbnailed galleries inside the gallery section. I recently added 2 new sections, ‘N-Lightened Encounters’ and ‘Poised and Still’. I copied and pasted everything, changing all instance names, img names, etc. Now, while all five galleries work fine in all Mac browsers, in IE PC, the thumbnails of the two recently-added galleries do not generate their corresponding HTML detail pages. I’m getting the little alert symbol in the corner of the IE window alluding to an error in the first character of my index page. This is confounding, even moreso because I’m using the same template HTML page for each img detail…and because everything works fine in all other browsers (i don’t know about FF PC). Each gallery is an externally-loaded .swf…but they’re all loading fine. the thumbs work fine as well. The mouse event seems to be taking place, but no call is being made. I’ve gone over everything as thoroughly as I think is possible, but can’t see my mistake. any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance…
ps - even MORE confounding! three thumbs in the gallery ‘poised and still’ (2nd row - ‘ripe’, ‘sitting’ and ‘being’) generate their HTML pages fine in IE pc! but I did absolutely nothing different. quadruple-checked all nomenclature issues…I’ve even re-made the offending HTML pages, and re-posted all images…
