I am trying to design a preloader that will load multiple clips to be played sequentially as “slides” on the stage of my main movie. Here is the difficult part (given my limited knowledge of AS/Flash) - the preloader I am attempting to design will begin playing the first slide while continuing to download the remaining clips. Presently, I am loading into a “holder” clip, and storing them in an array of clips. Difficulties abound with regard to keeping loading clips invisible or not playing when trying to play the first clip.
Does anyone know of examples of such a preloader, or have suggestions for how one might work. What is a technique for playing JUST the first clip in a downloading series without affecting those still downloading?
