Here’s my problem. I want more desktop estate on my toshiba satellite 2800 notebook. The computer can display resolutions larger than 1024x768, but a lot of it gets chopped off. The actual monitor is a Toshiba Internal 1024x768 panel. Because ‘1024x768’ is in the actual name, I assume that it isnt meant to go beyond that resolution. The monitor doesnt have any external controls to adjust display size, and what I was wondering was is there a program that allows you to make adjustments to your computer’s display (resizing, moving, bloating, etc)?
I wouldn’t recommend it, 1024 is the native resolution, anything else will look blurred. If you got the money, buy a second monitor.
Wait, is your problem that your screen is clipping the edges even with your computer set to output display at 1024x768?
