Display swf when user presses a button

Hi,
I have an AS2 code and I want it to be “processed” and the corresponding swf file be displayed only when the user clicks a button on my webpage.how do I implement it?

well the user gives the xml file .the actionscript code reads the xml file and performs certain actions.I want the action script code to be processed after the user feeds the xml file on say my webpage.How do I create the corresponding swf file from there?

I’m not sure of what you’re tryng to accomplish… but it sounds like you want to load an external swf?.. or simply execute some actions when the user presses a button?

I don’t really understand your question either.

Explain it step-by-step if needed.

  1. user enters webpage
  2. user clicks button X
  3. etc…

That might be easier if your question is hard to phrase.
