Display Weather information on a website

I’m doing a job right now and the client would like to display weather information on their website for Cabo San Lucas Mexico. I’ve seen some scripts that offer weather information for the united states, but none that offer dynamic international weather.

I’m leaning toward parsing the information out of a site like cnn.com, do you think that this is legal? Do you know of any free sites that offer weather reports? I’ve seen some xml feeds, but none for cabo san lucas. This also isn’t the most reliable method, since in a few months from now stuff might change with a site.

Any information is appreciated, thanks.

lol! I just found that while doing a search!! I wish I would have checked here first, I wouldn’t have wasted half an hour trying to find it.

I’ve decided against using his services though and using what he is using to get the weather instead. ( http://weather.noaa.gov/ )

And after seraching on weather.com and cnn.com, I found that it is indeed not legal to use their services. Weather.com does offer something you can display on your website, but you can’t edit it in any way shape or form, so it’s useless.

Yeah, there’re aren’t that many sites who offer XML weather feeds for free that you can either alter, or don’t contain advertisements. I tried to find one for London ages ago because I saw a couple portfolio sites which changed according to the local weather, but it’s harder to find one for London England than it was finding that one for Mexico :h: Mind you, it’s either raining or cold here, so I could just use one of the two all of the time
