Displaying a .txt file using flash only

hi,
im working on my band’s website www.powerkidadventures.cjb.net,
and i was wondering if anyone could help me display either a.txt file to the right of my menu (check out the site to see what i talking about), or just make a neat little window that is displayed (not a pop-up) that will stay after you click a menu item and change when you click another menu item.

I got a 404 when I went to your page, so am not sure exactly what you are asking. But the request seems small enough. I would be glad to help or do it for you if its not a huge amount of work, or to help you understand enough to do it yourself. Send me the Fla file along with EXACTLY it is you are desiring;

yeah i just got a call about that, hmm, i dunno, free web hosts suck, anyhow, yeah ill send it to you and give you the idea via email, thanks :slight_smile: . also i would like to actually understand it, cuz i will be updating constantly and i want to be able to really make good updates and what not. thanks :slight_smile:

yeah i cant send it cuz its too big of a file. hmm. this is the website galileo.spaceports.com/~powerkid and i just want a dsiplay on the side of the menu that is either a .txt file or just a flash text field that will appear when you click a menu button, stay there, and then change to a different bit of info when you click another button. its for the news , shows, band info stuff like that. i dunno, i gotta go pay some bills, so ill be back later, please post any wuestions that you have, i just woke up and probably make little to no sense. thanks alot :slight_smile:

ok its up, i still cant send you the fla for it though cuz its too big for hotmail to send :frowning: . hopefully you can sorta see what im talking about from the page, if not, i can try and zip the file or something
