DIV expands vertically in FF but not in IE

Hey all,

i am hoping that there is a simple answer to this:

I am working on a website, and I seem to have run into a curious snag. It seems that the core content area is not rendering correctly in IE 7, but is hunky dory in FF.

Notice that the content under “EVENTS CALENDAR” is just fine in FF, but the container DIV refuses to expand in IE 7. At least that is what it looks like to me. Any thoughts as to what is causing this?
