At first I want to say that I am not a programmer, I am a civil engineer, but I have one idea, that I want to realize, so I’m asking for your opinion.
I would like to have a possibility, where a user could draw simple lines, but with exact length (5000mm, 3150mm, 3950mm etc). Something very easy, where a user could just click and see the lines. Together these lines would make a floor plan for a house. These lines don’t have to have thickness, because it will be just a sketch where walls are located. After user has drawn the sketch i would need the program to generate a text file with coordinates of the lines.
I hope very much for your guidelines or suggestions in what programming language this could be done so I could start to search for people who now such programming language, and have more detailed talk, or can this be done at all. So far i have been told that this program could be made and putted in the web page, so people could draw on the internet. There is a second way I have been told, the way when user just clicks on “exe” file and window opens where user can draw, and then just press some button to generate the file.
