Drop Down Menu tutorial?!

Ello!

Anyone know where I can find a tutorial that shows how to make drop down menus?

e.g.

Main nav has Home - About Us - Services - Contact as buttons stacked ontop of eachother…

…someone clicks ‘Services’…'Contact button animates down to reveal sub sections of ‘Services’…then when ‘About Us’ is clicked…'Contacts moves up to hide the ‘Services’ sub menus and then 'Services and ‘Contacts’ animate down to reveal sub sections of ‘About Us’!..the again it sub menus hide when other buttons are clicked…does that make sense?

Ive found this one HERE which is just the idea Im after…however does it have to be XML driven?

The one on this site is a bit too basic.

Thanks

And whats the problem of having it XML driven?

Basically because I havent got a clue when it comes to XML!..I saw all the scripts in the FLA file and I nearly fell off my chair!

But if its XML driven, then all you would have to do is customize the XML file, not the FLA.

Yer…Ive realised that…and its good…Im just trying to customise this one.

Yer Ive seen that…not really what Im after…I want the intelligent version that closes submenus when others are clicked like the XML one.

Im doing OK now coverting the XML one

Thanks anyway!

like, u can just change the “roll out” with “on press” and the other sub menus will close on click :nat:
