Duplicating MOVIE CLIPS but changing each one individually

im sure there is a way to do this…

i have like 9 buttons all linking to 9 different movie clips… each one i want to have the same animation, but display a different image at the very end

so what i did was copy and paste the MC so i dont have to make the animation each time, but when i go inside the MC to change the final photo… they all change!

im sure there is a way, i looked around on google for a bit and the forums but i couldnt seem to find the right way to ask the question… so i figure i would here

you cant change only one instance of a movieclip, in the library right click it and select duplicate movieclip, it wil make different ones for you to change
