Dynamic and input text?

hi.

is it possible to have a text that is both a dynamic and input text.

as i want to for example, retrieve the data from a database and show it as dynamic texts on flash but then i want the texts to be editable so that users can edit the texts and then submit and update the database instead of writing it all over again.

i am on the concept that dynamic is for displaying records only and input is for writing records .
