Dynamic text with custom scrollbar

HI,

i have a dynamic text box that is loading text from a .txt file. I would like to attach a scrollbar to it so if the .txt file becomes very long the user can scroll down. The problem i am having is i would like to customise the scrollbar so it has the look i would like. I have tried going to the ScrollBar Assets/States folder and editing it that way but it is a bit limited so ideally i would be able to build the scrollbar from scratch. Can anyone advise me on this or point to a tutorial that could.

I have an AS3 fla for doing exactly what you’re looking for, but it will have to be translated to AS2.
