any of you guys send or have sent out e-shots out?
The company I’m working for wants to start doing them and I’m a bit [COLOR=“SeaGreen”]green[/COLOR] in that area so just wanted a bit of background info.
how easy is it to set up and produce them all in house? by myself 1 man band :sleep:
From what I’ve researched so far the HTML emails should be done in tables all images should be hosted on the net somewhere not attached to the email.
when it comes to sending them out, obviously I cant use outlook to send out 7k+ of emails so is there any nice programs out there that will send them for me, you know at a nice steady rate so it doesn’t clog up our mail server?
I’ve looked at Mail List Controller that seems to set up lists to manage your contacts and emails also sends the emails for you, you have to flow in your email details so it goes through your mail server but im not sure if it will try and send them all at once or if it will stagger the process. :gm:
so anyone got any tips and advice for me? also if anyone knows any progs that are good please drop me a message.
I’m reluctant to hand the company database over to a 3rd party and get them to send emails for us. As I like to be in control make sure I know where the emails are going and that every clients details aren’t begin sold on to a million 3rd party company’s etc
