'Easing' and/or Movement

Hi

I’ve seen on this site the tutorials for ‘Easing’ and have used them to good effect but i was wondering if anyone knows how the following sites achieve their interaction with visitors to the sites:

www.gomez.co.uk
www.aqualung.net

The ‘aqualung’ site seems pretty straightforward in terms of moving left to right and vise versa but the effect i want to know about particularly is how the effect of ‘zooming in’ to each relevant part is achieved…Does anyone know or at least have an idea?

any help, greatly appreciated.

For gomez, I think it’s done by hand. And for aqualung, I don’t see what you’re talking about.

on the aqualung site its the top portion of the site if you put the mouse over what looks like a beach you’ll see what i mean.

with gomez, what do you mean ‘by hand’?

I mean that it’s just tweens. No scripted easing.

Ilyas: Aqualung reacts to your mouse, so I think that is actionscripted easing.

Oups, you’re right. I rolled over the box too quickly. That’s lovely :beam: Perspective and easing, I like that.
