If you’re familiar with Eclipse, you are probably also familiar with Eclipse’s code hint box. Recently, it has been acting strangely. Usually, the box will appear after some special character is typed (’.’, for example) and it will allow you to continue to type without being interrupted (hitting Enter at any time will autofill with the appriate code).
The problem I am having is that the hint box disables typing (typing will not navigate the hint box, either). I’ve disabled the feature altogether at the moment, but it certainly helps speed up the coding process.
I’ve tried reinstalling Eclipse, but that doesn’t help. Also, I have the plugin and standalone versions of Flex Builder. The code hinting doesn’t work properly in that either.
Does anyone know of a way to fix this? (Switching IDEs is not an option)
Fixed. Resetting helped.
