Time and time again this frustrates me. The AS tag is evil…
If you try going back and editing a page with an AS tag, the formatting “is applied” to the text, instead of showing you the original tags.
I’m guessing the AS tag is only used when submitting messages so the <span> tags only have to be rendered once instead of every time someone views a post, yet it is getting REALLY annoying.
Is there a possibility of fixing this? A lot of the time, I use CODE instead just because it’s easier to go back and edit. Otherwise I have to “clean paste” the code into Notepad and paste it back into the post without the formatting.
