I am looking to create an animation in flash to export to a GIF
that looks like a piece of text or symbol getting electrified…
what i DONT want is what is found here.

Voetsjoeba once made a flash footer long ago…that had the effect i was looking for…
the animation i cann pull off myself…but how does one create lightning that looks nice? that kinda looks like its wrapping around the text and what not.
explanations in Fireworks or photoshop or Flash are all good.
