I followed one of the slideshow tutorials here on Kirupa. And to make a long story short, I have a font embeded into it for the descriptive text area. I tested it with IE and Firefox on three different machines I have, which didn’t have the font on the computer, and they all worked. They all loaded in the custom embeded font, and displayed the text perfectly.
The problem though is that some other people are not seeing it. I’m not sure why some are seeing the cutom font and text,while others are not evening seeing any text?
To my knowledge, in the past, if the custom font wasn’t found on the local computer (and wasn’t embeded, or embeded properly in the flash), flash would default to Arial or to a standard/default system font. But in this case, the people that don’t see the custom font, don’t see any text.
How can I troubleshoot this problem? Is it a version issue when I exported the flash?
