hi, i don’t know much about flash mx and i want to know how you go about placing emoticons in your flash scroller? Also how do you apply an effect such as colour change, on a text (link) once mouse roll over it in your scroller?

i’m not sure what you mean by flash scroller? but i am assuming it is a scrollbar component, in which case, you would have to actually draw whatever faces you wanted in it and make it into a little graphic or something. or you could use a font such as webdings that has smileys in it.
to make the text change color, you must make it a button. then in the over state you just change the color of the text.
