Calling all Awesome 3D Modeling / Texture Artists!
Gameloft, a leading international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones and console, is seeking a Low Poly 3D Modeling / Texture Artist to join their existing talent pool on creating iPhone games. Qualified candidates will link up with imaginative design teams to create hot new game titles, fulfilling a wide range of genres from hardcore action to casual simulation. Previous hit iPhone games include Oregon Trail, Hero of Sparta, NOVA, Avatar, Dungeon Hunter, NFL 2010, Real Soccer 2010, New York Nights, Assassin’s Creed, Terminator Salvation, Asphalt 5, Let’s Golf, Gangstar, just a few of the 250 games that Gameloft has created since its inception. As a key member of the development team, you will be modelling characters and 3d backgrounds and creating textures for some of the future best selling iPhone games!**
**Must-haves/ know-how: **

[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Proficient in Photoshop or other 3D software
[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Proficient with rendering tools such as Brazil/Maxwell.
[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Ability to create realistic and detailed textures
[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Ability to model and texture complex and low-rez scene.
[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Good sense of volume, lighting and materials
[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Strong sense of optimization working with varied technical constraints
[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Demonstrate creativity, adaptability to different game and graphic styles (pixel, cartoon, realistic, illustration, etc.);
[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Ability to work as a team player with designers, developers and producers
You’ll earn brownie points if you have:
[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Former work experience on 3D games in PS1 or DS
[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Former work experience on creating 3d artwork for game packs
[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Background in illustration
[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Knowledge of vray and mental ray
[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Specialty in 3D graphic design used as the basis for 2D and compatible platforms
[FONT=Symbol]·[/FONT]Excellent skills and knowledge in vehicle design will be a big plus.
