Here’s my (first?) entry into the mag cover competition.
It’s called Troubadour which means “wandering minstrel”. I thought it was a nice name for an alternative local music magazine. All the names on the cover are real local bands and musicians. I took the photo.

ok i think ur text is too big, its distracting the viewer from the title.Also try to keep the fonts standard. i mean dont use too many different font styles.Also there is no element of music in there which should depict that its a music magazine. just my suggestion 
I’m liking the overall layout. The color scheme, however, reminds me of a mexican restaurant and not a rock magazine:P
