Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2035: URL Not Found

Good morning, angels!

I’m about to finish my portfolio with which i plan to apply for an internship place asap. I am kinda in a hurry cause its part of my study.

Part of that site is a flip gallery called “FlickrFlow”.
I found it in the net and liked it - the thing is, it was planned to read a flickr generated xml to load the images in the gallery.

I edited the xml, cut almost everything out and replaced it with the path of some local pictures.

Problem: It runs when i start it from within Flash - as soon as i start the .swf directly, the gallery doesn’t show any pictures - also the published .exe has the same problem.
I also get the Error from the topic when i click on the gallery.

The .swf is in the same folder as the .fla and the images are in a sub-folder called “gallery” (yes, i am a creative man =) ).

I googled around a bit and found other people with the same error - but unfortunately different causes (wrong directory set in AS etc.).

I am pretty new to Flash so I looked around in the included .as files and found lines about flickr ID and https… I’m a noob, so i didn’t change anything with it - why should I? I always thought that it works…

Maybe another thing that I should mention is that even from within the fla it DOES NOT ALWAYS show the images… pretty weird, but u gotta believe me, I don’t change anything!!! and once it works, than it doesn’t (works most of the time but once it didn’t work and I was frustrated… closed Flash and everything, copied the entire folder, started the copied .fla , published, and voilla, it worked…).

Since it works from within Flash, I thought i don"t have to post the code in here, u guys wouldn’t like it =)

So I really hope u guys can help me in some kind of way, cause the portfolio is basically done, except that problem of course…

(I use Flash CS3 with AS3 and plan to burn the .exe on a CD).

Thank u in advance, u guys are what makes noobs like me learn (first time I actually had to post myself… pretty much stuff out there =) ).

greetings, Eduard from Germany
