Error exporting flash movie

hello. i hope this question is not a repeat, i used the search and nothing matched.

i recently made a movie clip using my webcam. i imported it into flash library and then put it onto the stage. i converted the .avi to an actual movie clip symbol. then i added some stop and play buttons. everything looks and acts exactly how i want it to, but when i try to export it to .swf i get an error that says not enough memory. does this mean i cannot use the movie clip? thank you for the help!

if the fla is small enough, it will be attached.

Can we see the fla?

lemme try again to attach…
it didn’t work. whenever i try to attach it goes to the ‘unable to load page error’

Whats the file size? Theres a limit for that.

it says 12.7 mb
something tells me i did something wrong…

The limit is around 1MB here. :beam:
What is your system configuration?

ummm…let me see…i think this is what you’re asking for. i dont know why i am so nervous all of a sudden.
OS: win me
64 mb ram
pentium 3

Maybe its a RAM problem? :-\

if i upload the fla to my webserver would you try to export it for me?

Sure

Try to import your movie in a different format or even compressing it to like, DivX format. That might decrease the size. Otherwise, get more RAM, I’m not too sure how much Flash MX needs alone.
