Exit scrollpane on rollout

I’ve made a scrollpane and was wondering if there is a way to close or hide it if the user rolls out, like a menu would do. As a work around I do have a border on three sides that is a button with a roll out command on it. It works as long as they exit from one of those sides. If I put it on the side with the scrollbar then of course it closes when you reach for the bar. I’m just wondering if there is an action script command that might hide it.
