Expanding content item with other items subsequently sliding down

So that’s the general idea, not quite an accordion, but similar. Basically, I’m going to have 25-30 of these boxes laid out vertically. They’ll be narrow to begin with, and on roll over i want them to expand down a littlle, but when they do that, I want the ones below to slide down accordingly. Any links or code hints would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys!
