Hey there. i’m having trouble with an expanding navigation…there’s a weird overlap that’s kind of unsightly. I was hoping someone could help me figure it out. I didn’t code it, it was passed on to me as the previous flash guy is no longer on the project. I’ve included the file in this post
If you open it up and run it, there are four buttons on the left. Click on a button…the menu expands…click it again and it collapses. This is okay. The problem I’m trying to solve has to do with a button overlapping another. Example: click button 1 to expand and then button 2. Button 2 expands right, but button 3 and 4 should shift down below the lowest line of text. Same thing would happen if I clicked 1 and 3, or 1 and 2. But it won’t do it if I click 1 and 4 or in a descending fashion (3 and 2, 2 and 1, 4 and 2).
Any help would be awesome. And will get you a nice beer when you’re in Atlanta.
