Exporting as .mov?

I’m new to the board…just a quick question.

I’ve exported an Flash animation as a .mov on a Mac computer. Now I’ve mailed it over to my friend who’s on a PC and he’s unable to open it? Is there some sort of setting that makes it compatible on both platforms?

you could try embedding the swf on an html page maybe?

embedding it into an .html is a great suggestion. Unfortunately I need the file as a stand alone .mov…

I don’t know a whole lot about opening quicktime files on a pc but I thought you could. Maybe the pc person does not have quicktime installed?

you might just have to make two files then, .exe and .mov
