External SWF Transitions

I’ve been trying to complete the tutorial here at kirupa.com but am having no luck getting this to work. Can anybody look at this (see attached files) and let me know what is wrong? I have been trying to figure this out for days, and am becoming very frustrated, so any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
