I am, for some reason, unable to view externally loaded text (in it’s respective dynamic text box) when I view the swf it is being called into on my main movie.
Does that even makes sense?
Basically I am calling other flash movies into my main movie. The swf’s all load perfectly, but the one swf that calls up it’s own extrenal text from a .txt file is not displaying the .txt file when it is called into the main movie timeline. It works fine when I test the swf on it’s own though.
My directory is solid, my files are arranged correctly so I know it should still be able to find the .txt file when I load everything into the main movie. And, the scrollbar still works too? You can scroll but there is no text to scroll through that shows up. It is as though the text is being masked on my main timeline? Could this be a problem with my content movie clip that calls the external swf into the main movie? I hope that made sense. If anyone could shed light on this, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks.
