Fade out with the kirupa slideshow

I’ve followed the slideshow tutorial found at http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/xml_slideshow3.htm

I was wondering if there was any way to make the photos fade out after they appear? thanks.

You could use the Alpha Channel option to fade the images. Here’s something similar that I found on the tutorials here:
