Falling snow not so falling, need help

Can someone brighter then me help? I’m trying desperately to make a snowing backdrop for a rather lenghty x-mas poem i wrote for my daughter. I love the snow effect on the website that changes direction with the curser, but can’t get it to work for nothing. I just got flash mx and don’t understand enough about it yet. The poem is finished and is in a html format. Thanks
