I have been asked if I am capable of creating something in Flash, similar to the following app - http://www.weddingdresscreator.com/wedding-dress-creator.php
The only problem is, the following twist complicates things a lot more than my managers realize : they want it to be based around a fashion shop rather than a wedding dress shop, and instead of predefined items of clothing/accessories etc, and predefined positions of said clothing items/accessories - they want an image upload functionality where a user can upload new items of clothing and then use these items to dress a figure or mannequin. (Yes I realise the implications of this with co-ordinate positioning and clipping etc…)
They want some form of user input or interaction - beyond just selecting pre-defined options from drown menus as per the reference link above. Would something like I have described be a lot more difficult than the example or perhaps easier than I thought? Any reference links / tutorials / general tips on where to start or how to go about this would be greatly appreciated. Or you could tell me to convince the client to forget user input and just I make one similar to the example link
