I need a textfield with the font Gotham-Light to be able to show bold text from time to time. Normally this does not pose any difficulty as i would either place a bold version of the textfield of the stage or embed the bold version of the font in the library. However this Gotham-Light font does not contain a bold version. So i just figure i’ll use the faux bold. But this just does not work like i think it should.
When i select the of-stage textfield and make it faux bold. Nothing happens - the text stays regular. However when i edit the text in the textfield it suddenly shows up as bold. when i unselect it it goes regular again. When i publish its not bold. It works if i make both textfields use bitmap text og when i use a different font alltogether. But it does not work when i choose any anti-aliasing mode. Can anyone explain this to me?
Ive also tried replacing the <b> in my html text with <font face=“reference to embedded font in library”> couldn’t get this to work either.
