Hi I;m not sure which forum I should have used to post this question… but here goes…
I am currently involved in a tedious task where I have to name picture.jpg files.
There are always three files with that are of the type
imageA.jpg
imageA_(1).jpg
imageA_(2).jpg
and this pattern of three images continues on and on… imageB… etc.
Anyways… what I have to do is to create folders for each set of three images and then paste the three in that folder… ie… a folder called imageA would contain the above three files.
I would like to know if anyone can tell me a method… or some sort of code, script, program… basically anything… that would allow me to say… select all the files like imageA, imageB, imageC… etc… and capture their file name and create folders out of them…
This would save me loads of time and greif… and I would be willing to offer my graphic design services in return…
