OK, I’ve been using Frontpage for about 2 years & recently upgraded to FP 2002. Great, No Problem until now.
When I’m viewing my images in my images folder they are all sorted by when they were imported rather than in alpha order. All this started when I clicked the “history icon” on the left side menu. How do I get my files to be shown & listed in alpha order again.

I take it you are in Folders View. On the right-hand pane where all the files are displayed, press the Name tab toward the top. That alphabetizes all the files according to their names.

hmmm, I’m still not viwing the files in alpha sort. Let’s say I want to insert a .jpg file that I’ve already got on my site. When I click on insert file, the listing is still in the last uploaded file at the top.
When I’m in folder view - yes they are alpha sorted.
What am I doing wrong?

I tried importing a jpg and using Insert File and Insert Picture from file, and they appeared alphabetized to me. I do not know why you are seeing it in a random fashion. Have you tried right-clicking in the area that displays all the files and selecting any method for arranging icons?
I’ll try to search around, and if I find a solution, I’ll post it.
