How do I find a text string in a Flash file with multiple frames?
I did an experiment: In a test file, I created three separate frames. I typed “text1” in the actionscript pane of frame 1, and “text2” and “text3” in frames 2 and 3 respectively.
When I do a Find & Replace and look for “text2” Flash says it can’t find it. NOTE that this is the bigger Find & Replace dialog that comes up when your cursor is NOT in the actionscript pane.
So what do I need to do in order to get Find & Replace to find “text2”?
