Ok well i made this simple layout using mostly css. I got some done and I got this.

Then i wanted to make it XHTML valid so i added the <!DOCTYPE tag for the definition of xhtml. Well after doing that i get this problem when viewing the layout in firefox:
In ie it looks just fine after adding the Doctype tag. The layout can be found at www.rushscripting.com Any help with this would be appreciated 
NOTE the template looked fine in firefox before the Doctype tag
