Hi there everyone:
Please visit www.lourdestoledo.com. I’m about 90% done with this project and it happens to be the first full Flash site I develop commercially. It’s for a christian female singer from Puerto Rico, so I had to be careful not to put too many flairs and/or radical graphics. The site is in spanish. I hope you do not have too much trouble surfing through it. I designed and developed everything using Corel Draw 12, Corel Photopaint 12, Photoshop CS, Flash MX, Dreamweaver MX 2004 and Acid Pro 4 for the music. I still have to develop the photo gallery (it’ll be done by next week) and put some loops in the records sections and do final touch ups. But it’s mostly done.
I’m basically new to Flash and web design, but I’ve been a graphic designer for 12 years now and it sure helps to have a strong background in graphics and design. I still have to learn how to visualize a sites’ graphic distribution. Sometimes I get lost with the proper resolutions to use and how to use space. Stuff like that. My goal is to get to a point where I can design sites like the designers who win the Site of the Week Award and maybe do some stuff like 2 Advanced… A big task, isn’t it?
Anyway, I’ll appreciate all your critisism and hope to learn a whole lot more from it.
