H’lo folks, I hope the day finds you well.
I was recently handed a rather large assignment for a class at school and, lucky for me, a fairly large chunk of it is stuff I’ve already done in the recent past. Unlucky for me the assignment is expected in Java and all my work has been done in Flash 9 using ActionScript 3.0.
Now, don’t get me wrong here, I’d be very capable of producing Java code to match, but it’d be a time consuming pain in the butt and I could spend that time better on other things, so I’d much rather find a way (if it exists) to just plug my swf into the Java compiler.
After running a few searches, I found myself repeatedly pointed to JavaFX, but I can’t, for the life of me, find a manual that assumes I have a swf file all ready to go and am just starting my Java application right now from scratch.
I am, of course, ready to feel my face turn red as such a manual is linked to me, or (slightly less embarrassingly) have an all together different resource pointed out.
